Dr. Amanda Kudrna recently returned back to the Chicagoland area after a Midwest hiatus for over a decade and reconnected with Dr. Farid! Drs. Farid and Kudrna met at Indiana University over 20 years ago. Dr. Kudrna graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry in 2012. Shortly after, she moved out to the Pacific Northwest for a year-long hospital residency at Swedish Medical Center.
Dr. Kudrna decided to stay out in the beautiful Seattle area for a while. She dedicated her time there to many aspects of dentistry including the following: private practice, education through her position as an attending dentist at an oral surgery clinic at Swedish Medical Center, public health through her work at community health centers, and dental advocacy through her position on the Executive Council for the Seattle King County Dental Society.
Dr. Kudrna has the practice philosophy of treating all patients as if they were her family. Trust and communication are keys to achieving this. In alignment with Dr. Farid’s priorities: patient comfort is of the utmost importance.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Kudrna is married to her husband, Chris, with her daughter, Emerson, and adopted doggy, Völkl. They love traveling, eating good food, and skiing together. Dr. Kudrna also loves staying active through her yoga practice and platform tennis!
